As a Administrative Support Secretary at VCH you will:
- Work in a team-based environment and provides secretarial and clerical support for the designated program.
- Organize new staff onboarding, coordinate orientation, attendance to mandatory courses, and access to computer and database systems.
- Compile reports, enter data into computerized database system, maintain filing systems and perform reception functions when required for the program.
- Perform timekeeping functions and type technical and non-technical documents and statistical reports utilizing current, intermediate word processing, presentation, spreadsheet and database software.
- Arrange meetings, circulate agendas, and transcribe minutes as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
- Grade 12, plus two (2) years recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Knowledge & Abilities
- Ability to keyboard at 45 words per minute.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related office equipment.
The hours of work including days off and work area may be subject to change consistent with operational requirements and the provision of the Collective Agreement and applicable statutes.
