Job description: Solv.x Enterprises Inc.- Septic Truck Driver/ Servicer
Solv. x Enterprises Inc. that rents and services approximately 400 portable toilets to various construction and paving companies. Solv. x also sells solvent and parts washers to various mechanic shops and commercial businesses.
Solv.x Enterprises Inc. is looking for a dependable Septic Truck Driver/ Servicer to join our team in our Edmonton location.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portable Toilets (60%):
- Deliver, perform service cleanings, and pick up portable toilets as necessary per our standards.
- Maintain paperwork necessary for day-to-day operations including letting the office know when restrooms are not serviceable, deliverable, or unable to be picked up as scheduled.
- Sanitizing & repairing temporary toilets as needed at the shop.
- Drive service trucks to specific contract rental job sites, clean/empty portable toilets.
- Pressure wash and clean portable toilets at the shop that has come back from rentals as needed.
Solvent & Parts Washers (30%):
- Deliver/ remove drums of solvent to and from customer sites.
- Transfer used/ dirty solvent from drums to holding tanks.
- Filling clean solvent into empty drums (small/ medium/ large).
Temporary Fencing (10%):
- Delivery/removal of temporary construction fencing to customer sites.
- Setting up/ dismantling temporary construction fencing at customer sites.
General Responsibilities:
- Handle problems that arise on the route in an efficient and professional manner.
- Portray professionalism on behalf of our company.
- Maintain time and production standards set for routes.
- Pay attention and advise management if the equipment is broken, damaged, or requires repair.
- Help keep the shop area clean and tidy by helping when you see things that need to be done.
- Keep the assigned vehicles clean on the inside and outside.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES:
- Motivated and a self-starter yet able to work within a team to accomplish large jobs efficiently.
- Enjoy’s working outside in all weather conditions.
- Ability to follow directions from supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS:
- The ideal candidate needs to have past driving experience and clean driver abstract.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and is flexible in terms of changing work responsibilities on a day-to-day basis.
- Able to work flexible hours, holidays, and weekends if required.
