Job description: Proxxi Technology is a Vancouver start-up designing and manufacturing industrial safety solutions with products in-market for over 2 years. Founded by hardware engineers, Proxxi Technology’s electrical safety wrist-wearable device remotely detects dangerous electrical voltages and warns the wearer before electrical contact injuries. Proxxi Technology is now offering a wearable device to support social distancing in the workplace with pre-orders coming in from hundreds of companies across a dozen countries on three continents.

Proxxi Technology Corporation is currently looking for the right individual to join our team to cover for a full-time maternity leave position from mid-March 2021 to May 2022 (start date flexible and can be negotiated).

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Full-cycle bookkeeping, including, but not limited to, customer invoicing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, bank and credit card reconciliations, tracking inventory and cost of goods sold
  • Weekly cash flow forecast
  • Logistics coordination such as detailed order tracking, shipments outgoing, inventory incoming, process packing slips and shipping documents, filling out commercial invoices and sorting out customs inquiries, issues or delays, schedule courier pick-ups
  • Basic human resource administration such as on-boarding / off-boarding employees, draft employee and contractor agreements, administer extended health benefits, approve employee expenses, asset tracking
  • Customer onboarding administration
  • Mail and courier, occasional bank errands
  • Assist CEO/CTO and colleagues with ad-hoc administrative tasks

Requirements

What Will Help You Succeed:

  • At least 3 years experience in full-cycle bookkeeping is required
  • Strong proficiency in GSuite, particularly Gmail, Word and Excel
  • Knowledge of payroll is a great asset
  • Strong ability with numbers and analytics
  • Being highly agile yet detailed
  • Comfortable handling sensitive or confidential information with discretion
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • There is much to be done for someone who likes taking initiative
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organized and detailed oriented and ability to thrive with multi-tasking
  • Experience with Xero accounting software is a great asset, but not necessary
  • Experience in Tradegecko (now Quickbooks Commerce) is a great asset, but not necessary
