Job description: Your Opportunity:

This position provides administrative support to the Director and Managers in Diagnostic Imaging at Rockyview General Hospital with regard to the coordination of all staff related activities within the service area(s). This position liaises with multiple business areas within the region e.g. Regional Staff Scheduling Services, People and Learning, Position Management, Business Advisory Services, Rotation Management and TSSI. The Liaison is responsible for ensuring that the business of staffing and scheduling in the unit/areas operates effectively and efficiently which in turn supports the manager(s) in providing quality patient care. The successful incumbent will perform duties of a sensitive and confidential nature. This position works independently in a complex environment and performs multiple tasks involving shifting priorities and deadlines. Description:

As an Administrative Support V, you will require advanced administrative or specialized skills and knowledge to support complex procedures, practices and initiatives within a department or program.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of post-secondary education (e.g. certificate in office or business administration).

Additional Required Qualifications:

At least 3 years experience in DI administrative role with special focus on the ESP and e-people RMS environments required. Experience in using, interpreting and complying with union agreements is required. Understanding of pay/premium codes and their impact on payroll, budget and benefits is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must have demonstrated consistent attention to detail and accuracy. Must demonstrate consistent and sound decision making ability Must have the ability to work under pressure with significant mental/visual demands, and handle competing and frequently changing priorities, within tight deadlines. Demonstrated proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, Internet, and Email) Ability to effectively communicate in English
