Description:
The Business Provisioning team is the professional customer and technical services group for service level management of large, medium & small business accounts in the areas of Data, Broadband, and IP. The Business Provisioning team is a unique, multi-functional team, responsible for a wide variety of traditional and emerging IP, broadband and Data services in all market segments, regionally and nationally.
Because of the relationships that must be established with several internal groups as well as collaborators outside the organization, this position provides the incumbent with an opportunity for enhanced knowledge of the network while expanding his technical competencies.
In addition, this position requires the incumbent to deal with a large number of contingencies and to serve as liaison between senior management and operational staff.

Dusties and Accountabilities:
- Design
- Design all IP and Broadband services for the following teams: Government, Enterprise, Wholesale
- Design/Redesign all Network augmentations
- Correct Records during SA Activities
- Work with Sales Teams to ensure services are as customer intended.
- Upkeep Technical records as required for Network Performance and Engineering Teams
- Management for Public IP addresses for all customer services
- Provisioning
- Includes provisioning of all IP and Broadband services, customer location including all internet services and headend changes
- Work with customers for services and any issues encountered during turnup
- Aid internal network teams on network cleanup/network augmentation for project-based work
- Provision of Public IP addresses for all customer services
- Network
- Upkeep Technical records as required by network teams
- Verify CMDB when changes completed by network teams
- Migrate customers as required for gateway or network augmentation
- Service Assurance
- Provide all L2/L3 troubleshooting for the customer services on 24×7 basis (Rotational on-call basis)
- Correct service/network records during service assurance activities

Preferred Skills/Competencies:
- LAN/WAN experience and knowledge
- Knowledge of Data and IP products and services (IPVPN, Ethernet, Broadband, MPLS, etc.)
- MS Office Suite including MS Access, Visio, MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint
Educational Qualifications:
- Telecom/Engineering grad (tech college diploma) or 3 years equivalent industry experience
- ITIL Foundations (Nice to have)
- Cisco Certified (CCNA, CCNP, or above)
- Juniper (JNCIA, JNCIS or above)
Working conditions :
- To support the Network Operations Centre which operates 24/7; you will therefore be required to work on-call on a rotational basis. You will be required to work closely with network surveillance technicians
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
