Partner Solutions Inc. (PSI), which operates across Canada, was founded in 2000 with the goal of simplifying technology for brokerage firms and thereby allowing them to focus on sales and the profitability. Hiring Manager: Johanne Collin

The role:

  • Maintain PSI’s cybersecurity plan and contribute to Detection, Response and bring intelligence to external threats.
  • Collaboration in the triage of incidents and their eradication.
  • End-to-end contribution to the cybersecurity incident life cycle. Including post-mortem and documentation of alert management processes.
  • Participate, as a security expert, in incident, security and other investigations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recommend information security solutions that meet business and
  • technological needs while limiting the impact on users.
  • Identify current and emerging threats and their attack vectors, assess operational risk levels
  • and the means in place, including strategies to mitigate these risks.
  • Establish the level of vulnerability of the company and recommend the means and measures
  • necessary to ensure the protection of the company.
  • Identify ”Use Cases” for detecting known attack patterns.
  • Actively participate in making processes more efficient and automating daily tasks
  • Responsible for technical security documentation and ensuring that it is kept up to date.

Qualifications

What you bring to the table:

  • Positive attitude, team spirit and interest in learning
  • Experience working in a security operations center.
  • Very good knowledge in the following technologies: Azure, O365, Active Directory (AD +
  • ADAzure), intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS / IPS), firewalls (Palo Alto),
  • firewalls web applications (WAF), web filtering.
  • Interest in training, self-learning and maintaining technical skills in cybersecurity.

Strengths and preferences:

  • Have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in information technology, including at least
  • five (5) years in the field of information security.
  • Hold a certification in a field related to security (CEH, CISSP, GCIH, GCTI, GCFE or equivalent)
  • Experience in digital investigation (Forensics).

Flexible Work Arrangements

Right now, we support 100% remote work, if your role permits. We anticipate that in early 2022, we’ll be moving to a hybrid approach which gives us the best of both worlds – a mix of home and in-office workdays.
