Job description: We are currently looking for a Finance Intern to join our Finance Team.
As a Financial Intern you will collaborate with various team members of the organization to assist in accounting and financial management following established processes and procedures.
Utilize accounting software and analytical reporting system to record, store and analyze financial information
Check and control figures, postings and documents for correct entry, accuracy, and proper codes
Analyze and report accounting and finance related information to management team
Assist in the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports and statements
Develop and utilize various spreadsheets, manage special projects by preparing specifications/requirements and coordinate related activities
Demonstrate teamwork within the Finance, Sales and Operations Teams
Provide staff with honest, objective, and constructive feedback in a timely manner
Job Requirements: Learn and master internal operations and make recommendations to leadership for streamlining existing processes and systems
Knowledge of basic accounting and financial analysis principles and practices
Detail oriented and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication
Be able to collect and interpret data in various forms
A natural problem solver with the ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify solutions
Advanced level knowledge of MS Office specifically Excel
