Job title: Vice President, Business Architecture and Data Strategy
Job description: Under the responsibility of the Executive Vice President, Individual Insurance, Savings and Retirement, the incumbent is responsible for the overall vision of the business architecture and data strategy in support of the strategic objectives of the business line.
He/she will work in close collaboration with the other vice presidents of the business line, with the VPSI (IT services), and in connection with the corporate business architecture.
The incumbent will be responsible for all business architecture activities and the data strategy. He/she will work in a matrix mode with other vps of the business line colleagues, and the various leaders of strategic projects and continuous improvement.
He/she will also have responsibility of the tactical squad, which is designed to ensure the coordinated execution of our strategic initiatives.
A team of two to three directors will report to him.
REQUIREMENTS
15 years of relevant experience in information technology and/or business architecture
Bilingual (English and French)
Ability to set up collaborative structures that lead teams to maximize their efficiency
Have experience in Agile and SAFe mode, and know the Lean philosophy
Ability to innovate and mobilize resources and other stakeholders for change
Strong aptitude in talent development
Experience and knowledge of the financial and insurance industries
Experience with business architecture and data analytics in a complex environment
Strong analytical and synthesis skills
Action and solution orientation
Experience in managing in a matrix mode
