YOUR NEW MISSION

Secure timely Go-to-Market for Service Documentation

  • Capture all detailed requirements for each new or updated project
  • Manage workflows in respect to delivery schedule
  • Assign work groups to specific projects
  • Work closely with the vendor coordinator to ensure timely delivery

Manage stakeholders

  • Manage stakeholders in relation to delivery expectation
  • Report and escalate issues for swift resolution
  • Establish adequate communication (reporting, dashboard, etc.) to all stakeholders

Lead continuous improvement initiatives

  • Target and define improvement initiatives
  • Lead work groups
  • Report on progress

WHAT WILL MY 1st WEEK LOOK LIKE?

  • You will be welcomed with open arms in our Sherbrooke office environment. We’ll introduce you to all the people you’ll be working with. We’ll make the same tour in the Valcourt office environment at the modern R&D facility where your other partners will be. Your role will require being present in both offices and allows you to interact with many people. We are aware and sensitive to the new world reality and offer full flexibility to adjust to this new reality.
  • You will have a structured and organized integration plan that will ensure you have a one-on-one sit-down with all key players that will support you in your mission.
  • We’ll set up a weekly governance to discuss and design together short, mid to long term missions goals for you and target development opportunities

YOUR PROFILE

  • Curiosity for mechanic and electric subjects
  • Bachelor’s degree in administration or a related field of study, or relevant practical experience;

YOUR KEY REPONSIBILITIES

The Technical Document Planner is responsible to ensure timely delivery of all technical documents used to service our products.

The project management aspect of your role requires adaptation but also rigor in your planning and follow up methods. Your key focus will be to ensure that all the required technical documentation is available for product launch (Go To Market activities). Working closely with the NPD service team and the self-service team, you will collaborate to determine upcoming requirements and identify improvement opportunities. Within your team, you will manage resources assignments and align with the vendor coordinator to ensure delivery dates and estimated efforts for various deliverables are met.

Your mechanical and electrical curiosity will become handy since you will be evolving in an engineering culture while serving technicians in the field. The technical documentation specialist will assist you acting as subject matter experts on technical aspects and configuration implication. You will need to know our exciting products from a technical standpoint to evolve in your role.

Our department serves customers and dealers, we support their needs in technical information and contribute to improve their experience with our products.

  • Track and monitor documentation workflows; prioritize workflows as necessary to maintain project schedules
  • Coordinate with the team for priority and delivery strategy
  • Supports other departments requests (purchasing, performance and product quality, engineering, elf-service, quality-service)
  • Distribute workload among technical documentation specialists
  • Maintain inventory and tracking of changes for all technical information
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, ensuring details and expectations are laid out and addressed for each new or updated technical document
  • Select technical information improvement projects
  • Communicate activity and status reports to within the team and to management

YOUR SKILLS

  • Must be able to read, write, and converse in English and French
  • Must have computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office Applications, Adobe Acrobat and electronic databases

  • Must display eagerness to learn and continuously improve
  • Adaptability and creativeness is a must

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or equivalent
  • 2 or more years of Project Management, Project Administration or Project Coordination required
  • Records Management, Library Science or Management Information Systems experience desirable
