The Terrestrial Wildlife Resources Section manages terrestrial wildlife populations and the ecosystems and habitats that support them in the South Coast region of B.C. This includes setting landscape-scale population and habitat objectives, assessing these objectives via field inventory and monitoring, and applying the results of these assessments to land-use decisions, species at risk recovery actions, and sustainable harvest allocation.
