Job Purpose:

The VP or Operations, Finance and Administration will take ownership for the entirety of TCI. They will play a strategic leadership role while also ensuring the company’s everyday organizational activities run smoothly and effectively.

Core Job Duties:

  • Provide daily leadership to the Topcon Canada operation, finance and administration departments
  • Identify, define and improve company processes and procedures to drive efficiency, quality and safety
  • Development and ownership of cost control reports, cost estimates and manpower and facilities requirement forecasts
  • Define staffing, resource and training requirements for the organization
  • Partner with sales, marketing and customer support teams to ensure on-time organizational support
  • Manage inventory levels within the organization facilities and be able to effectively communicate issues regarding low stock, out of stock, etc. to the appropriate teams.
  • Defines and recommends objectives in each area of operations, developing specific short-term and long-term plans and programs, together with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • 10-20 years of management experience with at least 5 years within an cross-functional environment

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Self-starter with proven ability to take initiative
