Job Description

Specific duties may vary depending on the List of Specifications required by the client.

GMP knowledge

General cleaning, including, but not limited to: trash removal; dusting; cleaning restrooms, break rooms; sweeping and mopping floors; vacuuming floors; window washing;

Reading, writing and understanding of english language

· Completing work to high quality standard.

· Reporting to work on scheduled days and hours.

· Must be able to read and understand MSDS sheets.

Physical Requirements:

· Work in a fast-paced environment where good physical and mental health is required.

· Ability to bend, turn, stoop, stand, reach high and low, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. for 3 to 8 hours per shift.

· Perform repetitive manual tasks on a daily basis

· Walking large areas of floor space

· Able to maneuver large cleaning equipment safely

· Destroys and disposes of material in accordance with SOP’s. ·

Work may involve heavy lifting, bending and working in noisy environments. ·

Routinely exposed to heat, dust, alcohol-based solvents and low temperatures. ·

Protective personal equipment is required, including, safety glasses, safety shoes and uniforms. ·

Jewellery and cosmetics are prohibited in production area

Qualifications

Material Handling include: · Trained and qualified to operate Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV – forklift; pallet jack, pump truck etc) where required. ·

-Where required, complete Transportation of Dangerous Goods training and hold in good standing. · Adheres to the elevator operating procedures.

· Trained in working cleaning equipment (Auto scrubber, swing machine, burnisher and any others required)

· Strong people skills

· Ability to communicate with customers and co-workers

· Team player and detail oriented

· Self-motivated

· Enjoy working hands on

· Takes direction

· WHIMIS certified (Training can be supplied)

· First aid training would be an asset
