As of May 15, 2020 in order to mitigate the risk of the transmission of Covid 19 among persons in our care, patients, residents and also staff in our long term care facilities, an order under the Public Health Act was enacted to limit movement of staff between long term care facilities. While this order is in place staff will be limited to employment in only one (1) long term care facility. This vacancy is located at a long term care facility and will be pursuant to this order.

We currently have relief part time Health Care Assistant opportunities at our Long Term Care facility at Mountain View Manor – Delta Hospital.

This vacancy is covered under the Single Site Order issued by the Medical Health Officer.
While the Order is in place the successful applicant to this vacancy will be limited to working in only one (1) long term care facility. This vacancy is located at a long term care facility under the Order.

  • Provide care and support to medically stable clients waiting to be assessed for, or placed in, an alternative setting such as residential care.
  • Build on your career experience as you provide person-centered care to our residents.
  • Collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team to execute our Team’s care plans.

As the successful candidate you have:

  • Successful completion of a recognized Health Care Assistant Course.
  • Food Safe Certificate, Level I.
  • Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry (please include your registration number on your application)
