SUMMARY:

This is a critical and senior role to lead the Operational Technology & Security section of the new Global Engineering & Maintenance organization. This role is a highly visible role who will interface closely with the Global Information Technology Operational Technology (OT) organization to maintain/improve operations and security of the operational technologies network across the company, develop & define new technology roadmap in this space, and drive the roll-out of innovation programs globally. Additionally, this role will develop and own the global electrical & instrumentation engineering & design standards. Opportunity to interface and influence across the company and senior stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading the Global Instrumentation & Controls Organization – Set-up, Development and Continual Management
  • Interface with internal and external key stakeholders to develop, define and renew critical business needs across network
  • Develop and own innovation roadmap in this space (e.g., Rockwell suite of products, Pavilion, OSI-Pi, Plant wide WI-FI, AR etc)
  • Create and maintain instrumentation and electrical standards globally
  • Provide ongoing and any urgent/critical support to projects in various regions/ plants as and when required
  • Close collaboration with Global IS OT teams to co-own/lead/drive OT technologies protection/ upgrade/ innovations etc
  • Work closely with OT vendors to coordinate and drive collaborative projects
  • Identify and introduce new technologies
  • Support Request for Expenditure Authorization for Review
  • Mange direct reports in Global Instrumentation & Controls Organization

Education:

  • University Degree in Electrical Engineering or in a related discipline
  • Advanced degree is preferable

Leadership Abilities:

  • Proven capability to develop and maintain strong collaborative business relationships across global and regional functions
  • Ability to influence effective decision-making with cross-functional teams
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with diversity and inclusion sensitivity
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively and persuasively articulate positions (electronically and verbally) to various audiences and at all levels of the business
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and measure progress across multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and within teams on both strategy and tactical projects with minimal supervision.
  • Program management skills: identification and management of stakeholders, milestone development and tracking of progress, resource management, risk mitigation, detailed action planning, basic familiarity with change management.

Business Acumen:

  • General business insight and the ability to manage complexity within the manufacturing landscape
  • Ability to propose, evaluate and motivate projects from a technical and financial perspective
  • Ability to interact at various levels within the global and regional integrated supply chain
  • Ability to interface cross functionally with other functions (e.g., Procurement, Finance, etc)

Required Length & Type of Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably in Food or CPG industries
  • Proven track record in a management role – experienced in managing direct reports
  • Experience and comfortable working in a matrix organization with cross functional teams and multiple stakeholders
  • Proven track record to drive results through influencing, persuading and collaboration

Travel:

  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 40%
