Take your ambitions to the next level

You will be responsible for the maintenance and development of business in the manufacturing, logistics and retail sectors. You will manage your client portfolio and report directly to the Vice President of Manufacturing, Logistics and Trade. You will be the direct intermediary between customers and Alithya, and will be responsible for maintaining good relationships in order to close sales of products and services. You must be self-motivated and possess strong leadership and IT sales skills.

• Act as a business development specialist with new and existing clients;
• Meet and exceed the objectives of the assigned territory/area by promoting and selling products and services;
• Research new clients and establish contacts with corporate clients to provide innovative services and solutions;
• Identify and qualify potential customer markets;
• Develop sales strategies and tools/techniques for optimal market penetration and increased profitability;
• Coordinate business relations activities with the company’s partners and work in collaboration with them;
• Participate in the drafting and review of calls for tenders and services, in collaboration with the account manager and/or the tendering office.

Does this sound like you?

• University degree in engineering or a relevant field;
• Experience in sales and business and more than 5 years of experience in a technology related field;
• Experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector;
• Demonstrated influencing, negotiating and analytical skills;
• Results oriented, autonomous and rigorous;
• Excellent network of contacts in the sector, both in terms of customers and suppliers and partners;
• Good understanding of the issues in the information technology sector and the major players in the field (competition);
• The following experience considered an asset :

• Artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, IoT (Internet of Things), Big Data, cloud computing;
• Knowledge of the manufacturing, logistics and trade sectors;
• Digital transformation and Industry 4.0 knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English. Expected level:

• French: 4/4
• English: 3/4
