In this role, you will be responsible for many aspects of the day to day operations of the Maintenance department. The primary responsibilities of this role will be to respond and action demand service requests, execute PM work and to maintain and service the pools and tubs on resort. The work will consist of but not be limited to; general repairs, general maintenance, equipment installation and daily rounds both inside and outside guest rooms.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • General repair and maintenance of machines, equipment, guest rooms and buildings
  • Basic electrical
  • Basic plumbing
  • General carpentry
  • Pool & hot tub maintenance (as required)
  • Clean, adjust and perform minor repairs to swimming pools and hot tubs (as required)
  • Painting, wallpapering and tiling
  • Enhancing the guest experience by representing Blue Mountain Resort with a courteous and customer service centered demeanor at all times

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • General knowledge and experience
  • Certificate of Apprenticeship or Trades Qualification an asset
  • Construction experience an asset
  • Previous experience with pool maintenance an asset
  • Basic Computer/typing skills
  • Work experience in commercial and residential painting, wallpapering, ceramic tile application, drywall installation, drywall patching, stucco, stipple and fine wood finishing or refinishing an asset
