Location: Vancouver, BC

Term: This is an 18-month contract position

Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for office visitors
  • Fulfill general office duties – phones, photocopying, scanning, mail, courier and faxes
  • Provide support to event and communications team with administrative and project tasks
  • Manage record management and online database
  • Handle graphic design and website content management
  • Schedule and service for internal meetings and conference calls
  • Coordinate planning and logistics for event registration, venue management and catering
  • Maintain tidiness of boardrooms, kitchen and common office areas
  • Oversee inventory and orders for supplies and maintaining office equipment
  • Additional related duties and projects as required

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Office Administration or related field
  • Minimum 3 years’ administrative experience; prior role in event planning preferred
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and business writing abilities
  • Familiarity with email marketing and corporate social media is considered an asset
  • Graphic skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with a strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional relational skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effective with time management and prioritizing multiple tasks with changing deadlines
