Job title: Food Production- Pizza
Job description: We are excited to be hiring Full-time production workers with the possibility for direct hire for one of our large food processing facility in South East London (Veterans Memorial Parkway & Bradley Ave).
Shifts: Days and afternoon; must be available to work both shifts (could and probably would change from week to week with NO specific rotation)
Monday to Friday with occasional Mandatory Saturdays for OVERTIME
Shifts start as early at 5 am, Shifts end as late at 12:30am. Shifts are 8.5 hours
Pay rate: $20.72/ hour plus a 60 cent shift premium for afternoons!
Job Duties:
- Quality inspection: ensure product is meeting quality standard during all steps of production
- Flexible to work in any department; baking, topping, and packaging
- Trouble shoot machine issues
- Comfortable bending, twisting, lifting, and standing for duration of shift
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a criminal record check with a clear record
- Must have your own reliable transportation (not bus accessible)
- Willingness to handle pork, chicken, and beef production
- Must have CSA footwear
- Comfortable working both days and afternoons and Saturday OT as needed
- Must be able to lift 20kg (50lbs)
- Be able to bend, twist, stand, lift repetitively for your full 8-hour shift
