Here’s more!
Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together:
We’re looking for a Manager to lead our newly established Copper Reclamation portfolio. This individual will lead the creation and execution of our corporate strategy on the mining and monetization of copper devices and cables as we unlock those assets through the retirement of copper across our PureFibre footprint. This program will unlock one of the most promising revenue opportunities created through copper retirement. You are a seasoned leader, with a strong passion and aptitude for creating new businesses, an entrepreneur with a significant amount of grit and experience to solve problems, collaborate and execute on a well designed strategy.
Reporting to the Director, Program Penny, you will build a team that supports end to end copper reclamation activities including but not limited to removal strategy, warehousing/storage/re-use/monetization, in-field execution and technical expertise. To succeed in this role, the successful candidate will need to drive thought leadership, gather and drive insights from large datasets, create executive-level presentations, negotiate and land core agreements with vendors, and lead and grow a high performing team.
This leader will be responsible for the performance and cadence of copper reclamation and deliverables with an initial emphasis on establishing new commercial models, identifying attractive quick win opportunities, creating synergies with teams throughout TELUS, and securing strategic external partners.
Here’s how:
- Thought leadership: Lead business models associated with copper reclamation and other ad-hoc opportunities associated with copper retirement
- Critical Thinking: Develop the right relationships with the right partners to maximize TELUS copper reclamation value opportunity
- Team Building: Build a high performing team exemplifying, illustrating, promoting and applying TELUS corporate values
- Programmatic excellence: Juggle multiple competing priorities, make sure those around you provide information in a timely manner, and stay cognizant of what needs to be done
- Problem solving: Collaborate across teams to identify new and innovative ideas, along with ways to drive positive outcomes across the copper retirement portfolio
