Job description: Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.
As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.
Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic plan for the overall product suite. The Product Management may lead a small team and will provide strategic guidance on new product development projects. As a member of the Product Management team, this individual will lead and manage requirements, roadmaps as well as participate in strategic planning for the portfolio. This position will require an individual to have excellent oral and written communication skills and will need to have experience and expertise in the healthcare industry. Healthcare experience includes participating in past roles with a healthcare software vendor or as a member of a healthcare system. This individual will have a clear understanding of the healthcare market specifically within the electronic medical records, care management, population health, analytics and interoperability segments. We are looking for an individual that has experience with agile and has worked with diversified engineering teams. This individual may benefit from having experience with diversified technologies, including cloud.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop product strategy based on customer and market data, competitive intelligence, corporate priorities & initiatives, and internal resources availability.
- Develop and manage innovation processes to ensure that the product suite provides thought and market leadership.
- Manage product portfolio in line with product strategy.
- Participate in any build, buy, and partner decisions and relationships.
- Manage creation of and communicate to internal and external stakeholders overall product roadmap and strategy.
- Develop a repeatable product management process. Use metrics to measure and drive product lifecycle and continuous improvement.
- Establish business metrics and key market research questions for team.
- Ensure that product requirements are articulated in a clear, concise documentation process per Agile methods. Manage the product management SOPs and templates.
- Facilitate collaboration between Product Management team and organizations across the company. Communicate a clear set of business priorities and customer imperatives to drive trade-offs.
- Serve as spokesperson for the product suite, delivering clear, compelling internal and external communications to position products for success and garner support to execute.
Education Minimum: BS or BA degree, preferably in healthcare or engineering or equivalent experience
