Job description: Chaoyin Education Group is pleased to announce the opening of Chaoyin International School in Richmond, British Columbia on September 2021. Chaoyin Education Group has been a leader in private K-12 education in China for the past 20 years with elementary, middle and high school schools in Qingdao, Shandong province. Chaoyin International School marks their first school abroad.
The school will be the first of its kind in Richmond incorporating the best practices of Western and Chinese education teaching instruction. The school will open with classes ranging from kindergarten to grade 7. One of the school’s featured programs is an Early and Late Mandarin Language Program (the first of its kind in Richmond). The EMLP begins with entry in kindergarten and grade 1. It is an instruction program where students learn and study in the mandarin language. The school is located in the central business area of Richmond at 10111 Bird Road, minutes away from Vancouver International Airport, Hwy 99, and the Knight street bridge.
Job Description
We are currently looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time MARKETING COORDINATOR position to begin immediately. We are seeking someone with the following qualifications and abilities:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proven skills, training and experience in marketing & recruitment.
2. Knowledge of current marketing opportunities and ability to create and follow through with a Marketing Plan including building and coordinating the school’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, WeChat, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
3. Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target students.
4. Connect with influential media outlets and journalists to place stories about school news and other initiatives.
5. Create content regularly to help grow the school’s community and international profile.
6. Experience with creating and managing an annual marketing and recruitment budget.
7. A background of at least 3 years of highly successful marketing and recruitment experience.
DUTIES:
- Coordinate and develop marketing plans and initiatives for student and staff recruitment – locally and internationally;
- Analyze competitors, plan competitive strategies for educational product concepts, to develop an advertising program design;
- Develop, maintain, and enhance school’s social media accounts;
- Researches and writes articles for the school’s recruitment materials;
- Plan, develop, implement and evaluate a yearly enrollment management plan, including a recruitment and retention strategy;
- Design and oversee an annual calendar of enrollment events;
- Attend job fairs, Open Houses and for recruitment purposes;
- Organize and give presentations at parent information evenings;
- Interview students/families and tour parents around the school for admission to school;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of enrollment policies and procedures;
- Measure enrollment and recruitment performance through data tracking, including surveys, focus groups and exit interviews;
- Meet with parents virtually/ in person to enroll students based on their educational goals;
- Conduct webinars to generate interest and educate about potential students about the programs offered at the CIS;
- Be able to work evenings and/or weekends if needed;
- Performs related duties or tasks as assigned by the Head of School.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Fluency in English and Chinese-Mandarin is essential;
- K-12 experience in education marketing and recruitment preferred;
- Must legally be eligible to work in Canada at the time of application;
- Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Graphic design, and image/video editing are assets to have but not requirements;
- Strong communication skills, written and oral;
- Works well under pressure and attention to details;
- Able to work independently and as part of a team;
- Able to multitask and has good logical thinking;
- Commitment to promoting the school’s vision, mission and core values and to participating in school life.
Company:
Expected salary: $3000 – 4000 per month
