Job title: Administrative Assistant

Company: SASK CENTRAL VICTIM SERVICES INC.

Job description: To assist in the day-to-day administrative duties of the organization and to provide professional and friendly service to people contacting the organization. This position is integral to the operations of Sask Central Victim Services.

The successful applicant will play the vital role of being the first contact face/voice of SCVS. Whether the visitor is a client (victim), a community partner or town official, friendly and professional service must be provided.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Client Relations/Receiving and Directing Visitors
Tracking Budgets and Expenses
Create Monthly Financial Reports using Sage 50 software
Answer a multi-line telephone
Compile and Submit Statistical Reports
Assist in making travel, meeting and event arrangements
Taking Board meeting minutes
Other duties as assigned
*Must sign Oath of Confidentiality and Code of Ethics
*All potential staff must meet the RCMP Reliability Security Clearance and building access criteria

Skills and Requirements:
Strong Computer Skills
Knowledge and Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PPT and Accounting software
Excellent Interpersonal Communication Skills
Sensitivity to Confidential Matters
Some Accounting Knowledge

Reporting:
The Admin Assistant will report directly to the Coordinator.
This is a fairly independent work environment. Excellent time management and a self-starter attitude is essential to being successful in this role.

Expected salary: $17 – 19 per hour
