Job title: Administrative Assistant – Finance Department

Your main responsibilities as an Administrative Assistant will be to manage the administrative tasks of the Finance team and to coordinate various projects while providing important communication support within the department. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, you will participate in the development of a highly motivated team within a growing organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate and get involved in the administrative follow-ups of the various projects and committees of the Finance team
  • Participate in the preparation of various documents and ensure their filing
  • Coordinate the arrival and departure of team members
  • Prepare and organize team meetings
  • Manage the agenda and organize travel for the Vice President Finance and the Vice President Legal
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Directors
  • Collaborate on several other initiatives

Desired qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar management position
  • Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Bilingualism essential (English and French)
  • Good command of the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and be proactive in making decisions and carrying out activities
  • Knowledge of legal terminology (an asset)
  • Excellent organizational skills
