Your role
Reporting to the Director, Rights Management and Business Affairs, Original Productions, as the Administrative Agent, working closely with the Managers, Rights Management and Business Affairs, you will be responsible for coordinating the administration of projects for television and digital platforms.
More specifically, you will:
- Collect all elements and data required to prepare commitment letters and agreements.
- Thoroughly reflect the key parameters of projects in the contract management database, pertaining to financing, rights, broadcast and exploitation obligations or restrictions.
- Produce and check draft documents (commitment letters, contracts, amendments, interest letters, correspondence, financier forms etc.).
- Inform relevant sectors of any obligations attached to projects (broadcast obligations, windowing, costs, rights etc.) and of any modification which might occur during the rights term.
- Prepare and produce payment schedules.
- Proceed to sector payment steps.
- Contribute to the optimisation of administrative procedures.
- Perform other tasks to support the administrative needs of the service.
You have good basic knowledge of the audiovisual production or broadcast sector. Your organizational skills, attention to detail and thoroughness will enable you to effectively manage the various files to be processed, do follow-up and ensure the integrity of the data entered into our systems. You are able to work under pressure, in a context of high volume and tight deadlines. You have very good knowledge and skills in office computer software that allow you to work in a paperless digital environment and in a home office capacity, as required.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following:
Qualifications:
- College diploma (DEC) in administration or related field.
- One year or more of experience performing administrative or related duties.
- Relevant experience in the audiovisual sector.
Skills:
- Experience in data entry and management in computer software.
- Ability to learn systems and procedures quickly.
- Ability to adapt.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work on several files simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Team spirit and mutual aid, sense of resourcefulness.
- Advanced knowledge of Word.
- Very good knowledge and mastery of the Office Suite in a Windows environment.
- Very good knowledge of the Google suite.
- Knowledge of On Air or any other broadcast management system, an asset.
- Knowledge of SPEC software or any other rights management system, an asset.
- Very good knowledge of written and spoken French.
- English (an asset).
- Respect for confidentiality.
- Sense of courtesy with customers (internal and external).
- Conclusive experience in telecommuting.
Selected candidates will be subject to the following:
- French test.
- Test on Word and Excel software.
- Interview.
