Our client has a great opportunity for an exceptional Agriculture/Heavy Equipment Technician in Ponoka, Alberta (shop position)! This role will have the opportunity to work on a combination of agriculture and heavy equipment.
What makes the role exciting and what does it involve?
- Completing work in the shop
- Working on a range of agriculture and heavy equipment
- Diagnostics, electrical work, general repairs, maintenance and pre-delivery inspections of equipment
- Pre-season inspections and updates to equipment
- Manufacture training
- Completing detailed notes on work orders and recommendations for additional work that should be considered for the equipment
What are we looking for?
- A Journeyperson Agriculture Equipment Technician, Heavy Equipment Technician or Heavy Duty AG Mechanic would be preferred
- 2 or more years of experience working on agriculture or heavy equipment as a licensed Technician
- Someone who is a problem solver, finding solutions to complex repair and/oor diagnostic challenges
- Proficient computer and electrical skills when it comes to diagnostics (CANBUS troubleshooting and using an Electronic Scan Tool)
