In your role, you will:
- Contribute to the process of developing the five-year strategic plan, the annual budget, quarterly forecasts.
- Conduct the continuous process of monitoring the achievement of financial objectives and identifying risks and opportunities (Profit Assurance Plan)
- Support the consolidation, analysis and evaluation of the income statement by comparing actual financial performance against the annual budget, five-year strategic plan and periodic forecasts.
- Ensure good communication and coordination with the various teams of the finance function in each of the forecasting processes and during the production of variance reports.
- Perform in-depth analyzes on request for specific topics.
- Prepare financial information presentations (Five-year plan, annual budget, monthly reviews of operations)
- Ensure the maintenance and administration of the SAP / BPC module relevant to sales & profits
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate,
- You have a bachelor’s degree or the equivalent
- You hold a professional accounting designation (CPA)
- You have a master MS Office
- You have 6 to 12 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or other relevant experience
- You are familiar with accounting standards
- You have the sense of planning and organization necessary to coordinate the workload taking into account multiple assignments
- You have the sound judgment and analytical skills required to assess different possibilities and make recommendations to help management make decisions
- You have the interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues, other lines of business and members of management
- You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in French and English, with all levels
- You know the SAP-BPC system, business performance management applications and consolidation applications (an asset)
- You have a working knowledge of process improvement
