Job description: Our Approach Hotel Supervisor is the “Ambassador” of the Approach Guest Experience! Going above and beyond to own the zone. Our Approach Hotel Experience Supervisor has a great eye for all details. The role of the Approach Supervisor is to be a liaison between our Approach Guests and all Panorama Resort Teams. You inspect the common areas of the Approach Hotel after our Coms Team have cleaned, ensuring the highest quality standards are being met. You will audit lodging units for guest readiness. You will inspect for damages and report them to Maintenance. If guests have any questions about the resort or area or goings on, you are there to inspire confidence with your informative nature! You will play an important role in helping to create that great first and lasting impression for our guests.

Essential functions:

  • Establish and maintain a positive and fun work environment. Keep lines of communication open.
  • Answer phone and email inquiries from guests in a timely and respectful manner.
  • Great guests and visitors and make them feel welcomed!
  • Offer restaurant and activity recommendations.
  • Successfully meet or exceed daily inspection standards and productivity thresholds of specific areas.
  • Perform some housekeeping support when required.
  • Communicate with the Distributions & Controls Supervisor or HK Office Coordinator immediately if there are significant touchups in any area that has been inspected.
  • Report any and all damages or missing inventory in the building and any maintenance deficiencies to the Maintenance team immediately.
  • Liaise closely with Front Desk and Reservations to best understand the nature of guest or group bookings in advance of arrival to best exceed the guest experience.
  • Effective communication with guest and staff providing resort information as required.
  • Must adhere to the grooming policy, and to proper radio etiquette while on duty.
  • Participate in Occupational Health and Safety standards set for the department.
  • Develop and identify specific processes unique to the property. Presenting recommendations to improve efficiencies, inclusive of planning and developing training rollouts.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Lodging Director.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Candidate must have previous hospitality background.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Good comprehensive of the English language
  • Must be highly motivated and lead with proven strength.
  • Must have a service-oriented mindset and be capable of making every guest feel valued.
  • Able to multi-task, work well under stress and meet targeted deadlines.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends, holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy.
  • Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals.
  • Must be able to wear latex or non-latex gloves when using chemicals.
  • Additional duties may be required during high occupancy times.
  • Required to sit, stand; walk; climb stairs; reach; stoop, kneel, and bend.
  • This role will require you to conduct touch ups (cleaning) as needed during inspections.
