Reporting to the Area Director, Revenue Management, based at the Fairmont Waterfront, the ideal candidate will have experience in revenue management and hotel distribution and support strategies for maximizing revenue, market share and profitability.

What you will be doing:
- Support the PNW Region in Revenue Management Projects / Tasks
- Analyzing booking patterns and market trends
- Effective yield and distribution management
- Initiating promotions to generate business at key times
- Liaising with the sales teams, reservations, and front desk
- Maintaining an open and efficient flow of information to and from all operating departments within the hotel
- Continuous analysis of changing channel distribution models and the impact on consumer booking trends
- Maximize hotel room inventory by managing availability
- Maintain accuracy of information/data and enhance automation efforts in reporting tools
- Champion and facilitate the rate loading process for negotiated accounts in the leisure, tour and business travel segments
- Supports the revenue and leisure sales team and handle special projects as assigned
- Participate in departmental / self-guided training and development
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports, as required
- Other duties as assigned
Your experience and skills include:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Dynamic can-do attitude
- Strong analytical skills and attention to details
- Presents a professional and polished appearance
- Effectively deal with guests and other team members
- Previous reservation experience highly preferred
- Experience with Opera PMS, Passkey GroupMax & Opera Sales and Catering preferred
- Possessing the trait of being organized and multi-tasking
- Ability to complete work within given deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
- Bachelor degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, or Mathematic preferred
- Hospitality industry experience preferred
Your team and working environment: Key Working Relationships: Area Director, Revenue Management, Revenue Management Leaders. This position will also work closely with Sales Leaders, Sales Support, and Reservations Teams.
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
