Job description: Job Summary

Flynn Group of Companies is currently looking for an experienced Fabricator to assist in the assembly and fabrication of custom glass panels used in industrial and commercial buildings. The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Glazing Foreman.

Responsibilities

• Perform QC analysis on finished panels and frames
• Use drill on the frame according to shop drawings
• Operate a Drill Press
• Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products
• Grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Transport raw materials finished products and equipment throughout facility manually or using powered equipment
• Polish metal products to mirror finish
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings

Desired Qualifications

• Must have experience operating a Drill Press
• Ability to Read a Tape Measure
• Has worked with various hand tools
• Can lift up to 20lbs
• Can interpret drawings, calculate angles, measure and mark up material
• Has 6 months of Manufacturing Experience
