You will be part of a dynamic and friendly team of Food Designers who are part of a world class, global, Research and Development team.

As an Assistant Food Designer you will assist in the delivery of new products or supply chain initiatives for our European business. You will demonstrate creative food development, technical knowledge and a positive determination to help drive projects to a successful execution.

You will work as part of a team in an exciting, supportive culture, focused on strengthening our future by:

  • Supporting the project team during the food and/or process development and implementation phases, ensuring a successful launch of innovation, renovation, cost optimization, and Supply Chain request projects.
  • Assisting in production of food for consumer image or sensory testing in chosen manufacturing location
  • Development and implementation of innovative Ready-To-Eat Cereals or ambient snack products and improving food quality, cost, productivity and capacity in operations within Europe
  • Providing a supporting role executing delegated tasks under guidance
  • Adding to your own skills and knowledge by close interaction within the food team, R&D function and the wider business

Required

  • Hold a degree in Food Science, Food Technology or equivalent
  • Sound theoretical technical knowledge of food development
  • Passion for creative food development and have hands-on process experience
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Show high levels of proactivity and excellent achievement drive

Preferred

  • Relevant experience within the food industry as an Assistant Food Technologist or Food Scientist, preferably in Ready to Eat Cereals or ambient snacks
