Bilingual Manager, Client Experience & Digital Marketing, Connect Advice

Connect Advice is an internal startup and innovation channel at Sun Life. Our mission? Empower Canadians to achieve their health, wealth and financial protection goals. We’re looking for a talented experience designer/marketer to join our ambitious, fast-paced and high-performing team. What will you do?

Design awesome Client experiences by:

Managing UX operations (reviewing UX wireframes and handing off to agile build teams)

Collaborating with UX designers and UI developers to refine specs for implementation

Ensuring UX designs are in compliance with AODA standards

Refining UX processes and promoting the understanding of UX impacts across our business

Effectively communicating UX related topics, concepts and deliverables to teams, partners and stakeholders

Supporting market research initiatives and user testing with Clients and advisors

Assessing competitor experiences to identify key opportunities across the digital advice landscape

Develop clear and effective marketing campaigns and Client-focused communications by:

Partnering with the Director of Marketing & Communications, UX copywriters, designers and product owners to develop the monthly marketing calendar and creating digital assets needed for marketing campaigns

Supporting interpretation, guidance and recommendations to optimize end-to-end campaigns (including segments, creative, content, channels, tactics) on an ongoing basis by analyzing and reporting on campaign results (Excel, Adobe Analytics)

Managing multiple agency relationships by tracking and following up on POs and invoicing

Managing the content production and approval process (PRP), EN/FR proofreading and translation procedures for content

Maintaining and updating the inventory of advisor scripts and email templates by lead type and campaign, in partnership with the Operations team

What do you need to succeed?

Ability to speak and write in English and French

Strong writing, editing and design skills

Interest in copywriting and creative content strategy

Exceptional organizational capabilities and attention to detail

Solid knowledge of SEO, paid search, keyword research, and Google Analytics

Experience with direct-to-consumer marketing, e-commerce, and/or influencer management

Ability to work within tight deadlines and under pressure

Not afraid to challenge the status quo and not satisfied with “how it’s always been done”

Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial mindset

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills

Technical skills and Experience:

5+ years experience developing and implementing social media strategies across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.

2+ years experience in digital product management or UX research

Post-secondary education in business, marketing, communications, graphic design, or journalism

UX Design or Product Management Certification an asset

Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Access), Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads

Familiar with or keen to learn how to use Figma and Usertesting.com

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance. Certain sales focused roles have sales incentive plans based on individual or group sales results.
