Job description: Restaurant Support Planner role will be responsible for supporting all aspects of Restaurant order processing, as well as the first line of contact for all Restaurant inquiries. They will be a key liaison and support to other Departments across Martin Brower utilizing systems and reporting.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Monitoring the integration of the restaurant orders into the operating system Ensuring any system hard stops are addressed and removed allowing smooth processing to the next phaseTrouble shooting order errors and processing order adjustments
  • Monitor and Process Restaurant Credits
  • Manage order adjustments in the JDE system
  • Manage National 1-800 numbers and Salesforce communication for McDonalds restaurant and action / direct as needed
  • First line of contact for all MB concerns from McDonald help desk – Triage, assign and close tickets. Maintain National Log for review and action internally and with McDonalds Help Desk

Department Support

  • Determine restaurant closures using the KOMPASS system and liaison with centralized routing to initiate any temporary routing assignments. Using the MBSync system communicate changes to the restaurants. Holiday closures and Master Schedule Changes
  • Support Supply Chain and Operations during product shortages Using data based metrics from the KOMPASS system determine who might be a risk during a shortage, contact and make appropriate arrangements
  • Managing ‘Message of the day’ and News Section posting in the MBSync Communication portal
  • Responsible for the creation and upload into the operating system and the MBSync portal restaurant allocations for: Happy Meal toys, advertising materials, training materials
  • QA testing support for JDE / MBSync / KOMPASS connectivity
  • Active participation in cross functional promotional meetings with Supply Chain and ROP ensuring fluid communication and end to end support.
  • Support the ROP Promotions team through National Portal Setting Management in the KOMPASS and MBSync system
  • Support the Quality team through National analysis of early warning signals driven through the Quality Systems Dashboard
  • Support the onboarding on new restaurants or ownership changes in all communication systems and tools (Sales Force / KOMPASS / MBSync)
  • Run, Analyze and publish ROP/KOMPASS reports to various MB Business Units as requested
  • Run, Analyze and action as needed “Potential Restaurant Shortage” report during all promotions.

Process Optimization

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems, tools, and processes that support the collaboration and effectiveness of the National Supply Chain Team.
  • Maintain training & user guides – escalating updates as recommended to team leads
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Ensure the operations follow all Safe Food for Canadians Regulations (SFCR), Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) and Good Warehouse Practices (GWP)/Good Drivers Practices (GDP) for transport rules and regulations
Position Requirements
Required Skills and Experience:

  • University or College Degree
  • 1-year experience within Supply Chain Field
  • Advanced Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual English/French
  • Strong team player
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads in a high-pressured environment
  • Ability to develop good cross functional, and collaborative working relationships
  • Proficient knowledge of JDE, JDA, Cognos; Power BI – definite asset
  • This position must pass a post-offer background
