Here is what you will do:

We are currently looking for a full time Business Analyst (Microsoft 365D) for our Mississauga, ON location.

The Business Analyst is responsible for leading the efforts to implement and support Microsoft Finance and Operations for business critical processes. This role is a liaison between IT and the internal business community as well as external partners. This position will work closely with the business to capture requirements and validate processes within Microsoft D365. The Business Analyst will plan, execute and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. In this role you will engage with all stakeholders to understand how data-driven changes to process, products, services, software and hardware can improve efficiencies

  • Manage the design, development, and implementation of software solutions and systems
  • Hands on technical ability to write optimal SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
  • Manage reports, metrics dashboards and analysis to support business operations using Microsoft BI/database tools, preferably Microsoft SQL Server, Electronic Reporting and Management Reporter
  • Manage and develop workflows or batch jobs where required
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Finance and Operations and evaluate operational processes against the standard Microsoft functionality
  • Collaborates with the Business, assigning team resources to projects in order to meet the skills and resource needs of various concurrent projects.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements for projects via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Translate conceptual user requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible to developers/project team.
  • Lead analysts, developers, and system owners in the testing of new programs and applications.
  • Lead the integration of new software into the Companies systems. New systems must meet functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications. Participates in the Q&A of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
  • Manage data-cleansing initiatives to purge and eliminate corrupt or redundant information.
  • Manage schedules, and perform software improvements, configurations and patches. Ensures the maintenance of user security profiles, and manages security access using VitalAire and approved roles and responsibilities matrixes. Communicates changes, enhancements, and modifications regarding key business applications or reporting systems through written documentation to key internal stakeholders.
  • Identify issues and ensure they are reported, tracked and resolved in a timely manner.

Here is what you will need:

  • College Certificate or Diploma in Computer Science or Information Management Systems. Certificate in Business Analysis or Project Management
  • 3+ years’ experience working with Dynamics 365 in a Technical Analyst role
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, Salesforce & Microsoft BI software best practices and methodologies
