Functions and Responsibilities:

• Sets up and operates variety of woodworking machinery; Joiner, Planer, Shapers, Table Saws, Sliding Shapers.
• Able to read and interpret drawings.
• Glues and fits together assemblies or sub-assemblies using dowels, screws, clamps or other devices to form complete units.
• Ability to finish sand final product prior to finish.
• Installs hardware such as hinges and mortise locks.
• Fabricate special wooden parts and components as needed.
• Participates and actively works with others as a team, taking and accepting direction as given.
• Ensures accuracy and quality of craftsmanship at all times
• Maintains productivity and schedule. Is reliable and consistently demonstrates initiative.
• Performs related duties as assigned

Experience:

• 2-5 Years of prior experience in same position and industry
• Experience in a woodworking, mill or cabinet shop using hand and power woodworking machinery and tools in the layout, milling and assembly of products made from wood and related materials.

Schedule: from 6:00am to 3:00pm (Monday-Thursday) and 6: 00am to 11: 00am (Friday)
