Job description: THE CENTRE FOR CONTINUING EDUCATION has the following anticipated vacancies for the WINTER 2023 Semester for the DAYTIME- Full Stack Developer (FSD-07) January 18, 2023 to May 26, 2023 (Monday-Friday 9:00-12:00 and 12:30-14:30).

N.B. Contracts are contingent upon sufficient student enrollment in each course. Starting date, day/time and location for each course to be determined by the Centre for Continuing Education.

DISCLAIMER: Courses will be offered in an online or blended format until further notice.

For Computer Science (420) Full Stack Developer:

• Bachelor’s or equivalent* degree in Computer Science or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years appropriate professional/industrial experience PREFERRED;
• Several years related teaching experience at the post-secondary level PREFERRED;
• Excellent English communication skills REQUIRED;
• Some testing may be REQUIRED.

• Equivalent establishes a general comparison between two official education systems

Note: In accordance with art. 4-4.04 of the Collective Agreement, the Selection Committee may, exceptionally, recommend to the College that pertinent additional professional and/or industrial experience be considered in lieu of the stated minimum educational requirement. Candidates to be considered under this option must have completed at least the equivalent of a DEC or AEC. Education superior to the stated minimum requirement may be substituted for professional/industrial experience at the discretion of the selection committee.
