Our expectations:
Under the direction of the Central Delivery Operations Manager, the Central Delivery Coordinator is responsible for coordinating orders for home delivery originating from the Distribution Center (DC), providing after-sales support for delivered appliances and maintaining relationships with Final Mile carriers. The Coordinator may focus on one or more area of responsibility, cross-training in all areas of responsibility of the team will be required.
*Location: Rocky View Distribution Center
*Shift: Wednesday to Saturday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
Your role:
- Maintain a high level of trusts with carriers and stores in order to make quick decisions to best service the customer
- Mange carrier manifests
- Release and manage daily Home Delivery orders based on Final Mile carrier schedule
- Manage store order cancelations and changes
- Correct store inventory and issue credit for appliance damages, defects, and failed or incomplete home deliveries
- Arrange Return to Vendor (RTV) for products that can be returned to the vendor for credit or coordinate shipment to auction facility for other damaged appliances
- Maintain Mid-mile hub inventories
- Other duties as required
The qualifications we are looking for:
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a warehouse/distribution center (an asset)
- Proficiency with Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and handle change well
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build rapport and trust with others
