Job title: Civil Construction Inspector

Job description: Our client is currently having an immediate opening for a Civil Construction Inspector with a minimum of 5+years of related experience in subdivision or municipal servicing projects.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, supervise and provide direction to Contractors undertaking heavy civil construction.
- Understanding of OPSD and OPSS standards as they relate to road and drainage construction.
- Complete daily inspection reports and track Contractors’ progress as well as report to direct supervisor.
- The applicant has experience working in a supervisory role or previous inspection experience in the heavy civil field.
- The applicant possesses basic field survey skills.
- The applicant possesses a valid G License and has their own vehicle for transportation.
Qualification:
- Willingness to work long days and be present on-site while Contractor working. Willingness to work certain Saturdays.
- Basic computer skills.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, senior management, municipal staff and clients.
