Job description: Our client is currently having an immediate opening for a Civil Construction Inspector with a minimum of 5+years of related experience in subdivision or municipal servicing projects.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect, supervise and provide direction to Contractors undertaking heavy civil construction.
• Understanding of OPSD and OPSS standards as they relate to road and drainage construction.
• Complete daily inspection reports and track Contractors’ progress as well as report to direct supervisor.
• The applicant has experience working in a supervisory role or previous inspection experience in the heavy civil field.
• The applicant possesses basic field survey skills.
• The applicant possesses a valid G License and has their own vehicle for transportation.

Qualification:

• Willingness to work long days and be present on-site while Contractor working. Willingness to work certain Saturdays.
• Basic computer skills.
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise with team members, senior management, municipal staff and clients.
