We have an opening for a Senior Civil Engineering Technologist in our Kitchener office. The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience. This position will provide you with the opportunities for advancement and career growth. You will be in a collaborative environment with opportunities to take on increasing responsibilities.

Responsibilities include the following:

• Planning, designing, and implementation of civil infrastructure projects including roads, servicing, facilities and stormwater management initiatives.
• Providing support to other members of the team.
• Complying and working within COR certified environment and performing all duties in accordance with those specified under the Occupational Health & Safety Act and applicable legislation.

Job Requirements

What you will bring to the table:

• Minimum Degree in Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited post-secondary institution.
• C.E.T. or eligible – registered with OACETT, or P.Eng. or eligible – registered with PEO.
• 5 – 10 years’ experience including Project Management / Coordination experience, demonstrating an earned value approach to project delivery.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
• Experience in design using GIS, is an asset.
• Experience in construction inspection / administration, is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Committed team player who is also able to work independently.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
