At Northbridge, our Claims department is responsible for ensuring efficient, prompt, and courteous service to claimants, insureds, and brokers through appropriate investigation, analysis, and settlement of claims. Our Claims Director, Property and Administration, will direct all activities of the claims unit through effective leadership and training of the adjusting staff to ensure service and quality objectives are met.

The Claims Director is also responsible for supporting the development and implementation of best practices and departmental strategies in the achievement of regional goals for customer service, productivity, and quality.

You’re great at:

Providing effective leadership, coaching, and motivation to team members to ensure service and quality objectives are met

Directing the development and execution of the corporate and regional business plans, and ensuring strategies contribute to corporate objectives

Ensuring effective and efficient operation by enhancing workflow and operational procedures

Managing customer service standards

Managing Disposition Programs (i.e., settlement conferences, mediation, and internal committee file reviews)

You have:

Post-secondary school education and/or equivalent on the job experience

Minimum of 10 years of experience in Property and Administration Industry handling complex claims

5-7 years of leadership experience

Completed CIP/FCIP designation

Fluently bilingual (English/French) is a definite asset
