Aon Is Looking for Client Information Management Intern – Health & Benefits, Winter 2022

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering exceptional service and support as part of our Health Solutions business group within Aon.

As an intern in our Client Information Management team you will be supporting the business unit by working with senior team members on a variety of client deliverables including but not limited to contract reviews, plan design summaries, prevalence benchmarking and addressing ad hoc client questions related to plan design, carriers and programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Review contract, amendments, financial agreements as part of plan changes and change in carrier or new client onboarding;
  • Support and maintain data collection and accuracy in Aon’s proprietary client information platform;
  • Maintenance of client plan information;
  • Assist with ad-hoc client service questions, working with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients;
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams and carriers;
  • Increase efficiency by identifying way to improve standardized processes to add value to client deliverables;
  • Build and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  • Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value and business results.

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a consulting, financial or insurance environment working in group benefits or group underwriting department, would be considered an asset;
  • Demonstrated skills in organization, collaboration, detail oriented;
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Bi-lingual (English, French) abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills;
  • Must be a highly motivated, accountable, customer service and team oriented individual;
  • Need someone who is a self-starter and who has curiosity. Someone who has interest in continually learning and challenging themselves to think outside of the box and step outside of their comfort zone;
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills, ability to work under deadlines, and work on several projects simultaneously is critical;
  • Works well as part of a team and ability to self-manage;
  • Ability to discover, ask key questions and seek for guidance where appropriate. Interest to think beyond day to day task and understand how your work aligns to the success of Aon’s Health Solutions practice; and
  • Applicants who do not have the industry experience but have the required education and skills will also be considered.

Education:

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or any relevant University program; and
  • Commitment to professional development.
