Reporting to the Team Lead and FOI Records Officer, the Records and Administration Clerk provides the overall records management services for the branch. The position may also be required to occasionally support the administrative unit by performing other administrative functions.

Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • One (1) year of experience in records management and/or filing, electronic and physical files.
  • One (1) year administrative/clerical/reception experience working in an office setting.
  • Two (2) years’ experience working with the public or providing customer relations support.
  • Experience using standard computer applications (i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, databases)

Preference may be given to applicants with:

  • Experience with Records Management Systems such as ARCS, ORCS or TRIM
  • Experience in LAN management and Digitizing Records
  • Experience applying Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and Document Disposal Act
  • Experience with eApprovals
  • Post-secondary coursework in Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Two (2) or more years’ administrative/clerical/reception experience working in an office setting.
