About Our Client

Our client is a Construction Project Management Service provider for residential and commercial projects, dealing with both new structure building projects and renovation projects. They are looking for a Advisor to join the quickly growing team in Vancouver. In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding client services by taking them through the construction process of residential and commercial projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates who are looking to grow their career with a company that truly values their employees.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationship, manage client expectations and maintain an open line of communication for the full project cycle
  • Process project bids in a courteous, efficient and timely manner
  • Be able to close sales of all types, up-sell, and achieve sales targets while ensuring sales paperwork, documents are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Managing pre-construction consultants, certified professionals and sub-contractors on behalf of the client
  • Verify accurate scopes of work are created and supplied to the estimating team and the client
  • Verify all project cost estimates are signed off prior to going to contract
  • Direct Project Managers to ensure subcontractors are meeting expectations and contractual obligations
  • Drive sales, support staff, and pre-construction procedures to ensure construction budgets, timelines and quality standards are met or exceeded
  • Verify that all job sites are safe, running effectively while remaining on time and on budget
  • Abide by all WorkSafeBC requirements, work rules and regulations
  • Maintaining all required paperwork, electronic records, and documents

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in sales and customer service
  • Strong knowledge of Residential Construction Projects required
  • Experience with larger multi family project is an asset
  • Business savvy (i.e. comfortable with sales, working in the office 90% of the time, project budgets & scopes of work, efficient on technology)
  • Must have a vast working knowledge of the construction industry and a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales/networking experience and quick decision-making.
  • Ability to understand simple accounting, report compilation, and billing procedures.
  • Must have a valid B.C. Driver License
