We are growing and have an immediate requirement for a Construction Specialist to join our dynamic team in Surrey.

The Project Coordinator oversees a variety of projects, monitoring progress, reporting variances and acting as liaison among stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates internal resources and third parties/vendors to execute projects.
  • Ensures that all projects are delivered on-time, on-budget and within scope.
  • Tracks and analyzes projects’ performance and expenditures and reports variances to management.
  • Assists in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Works with resource management on resource planning, availability and allocation for projects.
  • Translates project requirements into tasks, schedules and assigns tasks.
  • Communicates to management changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs.
  • Tracks and analyzes project performance, cost performance, schedule and reports result to management. Makes recommendations for action.
  • Reports and escalates to management as needed.
  • Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
  • Closes project and documentation, passes project deliverables to operations.
  • Carries out other related tasks and projects as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Project Management certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • At least 2 years project coordination in manufacturing is preferred.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience reading blueprints.
  • Strategic thinking/planning ability with a demonstrated track record in problem solving as well as seeking and creating solutions to challenges.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups of stakeholders and staff.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and thrive in a changing, growing environment.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Demonstrated high level of initiative.

Expected salary: $45000 – 65000 per year
