Aon Is Looking for a Consultant, Client Information Management – Health Solutions Practice (Canada)

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering exceptional service and support as part of our Health Solutions business group within Aon.

As a Consultant in our Client Information Management team you will be supporting client teams in the servicing of clients with respect to plan design, contract management, carrier changes and benchmarking. Working with a team of analysts and senior team members you will be involved with a variety of client deliverables including but not limited to contract reviews, carrier changes, plan design summaries and prevalence benchmarking, and addressing ad hoc client questions related to plan design, carriers and programs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Write/deliver reports that are well prepared and provide expert commentary and observations following the review of contract, amendments, financial agreements when onboarding, following plan redesigns or changes in the carrier;
  • Respond to complex ad-hoc client service questions, working with carriers and other business units to resolve and support clients;
  • Drafting client ready reports and correspondence;
  • Attend client meetings in support of the client teams as required;
  • Establish and use network of carrier relationships to develop service enhancements to both client and internal client teams;
  • Coordinate the workflow within the team and building/refining efficient processes for delivery of plan summaries, plan prevalence benchmarking;
  • Coordinate the workflow and refine processes for maintaining high quality data in Aon’s proprietary client information platform;
  • Share knowledge across the organization to enhance Aon’s ability to excel in plan prevalence and carrier product understanding;
  • Mentor, coach and train others within our team;
  • Build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively on cross functional teams with colleagues, clients, client teams and carriers;
  • Increase efficiency by identifying way to improve standardized processes to add value to client deliverables;
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the group benefits industry, systems, products, trends and emerging technology, while having a thorough understanding of how this relates to increasing value to clients;
  • Participate in team projects and activities which drive innovation, improved client value and business results

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

Required Experience:

  • Five (5) plus years of direct group benefits experience in a contracts and client onboarding environment is required;
  • Proven organization skills and the ability to effectively lead and coordinate the delivery of projects;
  • Strong technical expertise and the proven ability to remain current with respect to industry trends, provincial and federal legislative policies and changes;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Bilingual (English, French) abilities would be considered an asset;
  • Ability to multi-task, work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with minimum supervision;
  • Ability to provide technical expertise and act as an effective mentor and coach and role model for practice members;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, both verbally and written;
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing requirements and deadlines under pressure;
  • Must have strong computer skills and be proficient with the Microsoft Office Package.

Education:

  • University or College graduate in Financial Services, or related discipline, or equivalent years of industry experience; and
  • Completed Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) would be an asset;
