Work Arrangements
The Mathematics Department in the Faculty of Science and Technology at Douglas College is seeking sessional instructors to teach in the Winter and Summer 2022 semesters.
The successful candidate(s) must be able to teach face-to-face classes at either one of the two Douglas College Campuses, in New Westminster and Coquitlam.

The Role
The Mathematics Department offers a wide range of preparatory and first- and second-year university transfer courses. For additional program information, please refer to the Douglas College Mathematics website at: .
The department is seeking excellent mathematics instructors, with a demonstrated ability to motivate students with problems in learning mathematics, while also being able to support and challenge students interested in pursuing careers in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Engineering.
Responsibilities
You will instruct students, facilitate learning and evaluate student progress in College courses. You will plan, organize and manage learning activities and resources, provide academic advice to learners and maintain quality learner-centered instruction.
To Be Successful in this Role You Will Need
Applicants must have a minimum of a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics from an accredited university and relevant post-secondary teaching experience.
