As a Creative Resource Manager, you are primarily responsible for the scheduling of the Creative & Design team. You are resourceful, organized and a natural connector. You are passionate about creative work and understand the process of the craft. You are our lighthouse in a storm, and the layer of strong foundations before programs begin.
OVERVIEW
You know how to help teams simplify, improve, and streamline their workflow. As a leader in the team you will be a point of reassurance and organization for team members, helping them navigate agency process and their workloads. We’re looking for a rockstar organizer who is ready to help us design long term process and systems for a company only two years old and entering a new phase of growth that requires a keener eye for detail and a strong arm in making sure we continue to do great work without the headaches that can come without strong budget, time and resource management.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work directly with the ELT to create processes and systems that will enable the C&D team to grow and thrive
- Work collaboratively with cross agency-departments and creatives to outline a schedule of deliverables for projects
- Keep track of each phase of projects ensuring the creative team has the resources needed to complete their tasks
- Maintain creative resourcing tool and assigning resources
- Review and process all incoming creative requests
- Ensure incoming creative requests are submitted with all the necessary info, assets and adhere to agency process
- Ensure proper deadlines are provided and efficiently communicate priority levels
- Maintain master status document
- Support of special projects such as case study/award submissions
- Develop strong relationships with peers and partners
- Drive creativity and originality by setting the conditions for creatives to do their best work
- Liaise with internal finance team to ensure the quotes we give are reflected in the budgets submitted to clients
- Onboarding for all new hires on the creative process
- Work with internal HR and Culture leads to establish broader processes and relationships
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferably at a creative agency
- Experience with project management software
- Effective communication skills
- Passionate about creative work
- You are organized and a systems thinker
- You are empathetic, optimistic, audacious, progressive and kind
- You have experience meeting deadlines, establishing timelines, and identifying information and asset requirements
- Understanding of creative assets and requirements. You know the difference between RGB and CMYK and when they are required
- You are collaborative and versatile, able to work with multiple project teams with respect, and are able to manage your responsibilities and time well
