We are looking for a talented Customer Care Specialist to join our 3PL Distribution Center based in Mississauga.

The Customer Care Specialist is accountable for maintaining excellent service levels for our internal and external customers through accurate data entry, continuous process improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Respond knowledgeably and courteously to incoming calls and customer inquiries;
  • Communicate with carriers;
  • Communicate with customer and customer suppliers.
  • Provide updates on order inquiries
  • Responsible for managing claims and investigation flow ups.
  • Assist other Customer Service Representatives in daily tasks;
  • Manage Service KPI’s and reporting metrics;
  • Expedite rush order requests and follow up;
  • General administration task in supporting shipment document flow;
  • Work on and execute tasks on customer systems;
  • Manage order exceptions to last minute customer requirements;
  • Promotes safe work environment and support EHS policies;
  • Work with Supervisor and Management team to enhance service levels;
  • Coordinate shipments additional shipments with transport department;
  • Ability to manage high call and business process volumes;
  • Coordinate / data input details for client KPIs around transport services;
  • Comply with GMP requirements as applicable to ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other

applicable authorities and client requirements are met.

  • Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and service levels;
  • Other duties as assigned.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Professional experience required:

1-3 years’ experience in customer service preferably in a contract logistics or warehouse environment

Knowledge required:

  • Operational, clerical and/or administrative experience relative to freight traffic;
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written);
  • Good planning and organization skills; ability to multitask and be a self-starter;
  • Ability to maintain focus work on multiple projects and deadlines;
  • Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR) certificate is considered an asset; CIFFA I + II certificates is considered an asset;
  • Advanced computer skills, including full proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel).

Education required:

  • College diploma or University degree in business is preferred;

– Good analytical skills with attention to detail
