THE ROLE

The Costumer Service Logistics Representative builds strong customer relations and the core values of the organization. This position must troubleshoot, problem-solve, communicate, and coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

  • Order Entry
  • Ensures consistent accurate and on time delivery;
  • Liaises with warehouse staff and freight companies to ensure on time delivery;
  • Invoices customer orders;
  • Maintains current customer information in ERP system
  • Assist with new customer setups
  • Ensures internal policies are followed (margin checks on customer orders, minimum order size followed, customer complaint tracking/resolution/prevention, etc.)
  • Process courier shipments
  • Other duties as assigned

Logistics:

  • Arranging carriers for all the outbound freight
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments
  • Review freight invoices to ensure transportation rates are within the set budget
  • Ensure products are shipped efficiently, cost effectively and safely
  • Track, document, analyze and submit claims, miss-shipments and damages
  • Facilitate shipment of product from LCN to correct customers to meet their demand with a little or no delay
  • Streamline shipping/transportation processes

Qualifications

  • Experience with order entry, or similar role that requires a high attention to detail
  • Experience working within tight cut-offs and deadlines
  • Experience with organizing outbound freight and dealing with carriers
  • Excellent team player that is able to set priorities and work in a team as well as independently
  • Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills with willingness to do what it takes
  • Strong computer skills (ERP systems, Word, Excel, Outlook)
