Job Summary

Applies acquired job skills to work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.

Responsibilities

· Supports the team with coordinating large customer deliveries and resolving shipping or receiving issues, keeping records/logs of all materials
· Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks
· Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
· Normally follows established procedures on routine work, requires instructions only on new assignments

Documentation & System Updates

· Coordinates speedy and efficient delivery of goods to the required destination and obtains sign-off for receipt
· Informs recipients that goods ordered have been delivered

Shipping & Receiving

· Maintains records of materials received and shipped, within a semi-routine scope
· Receives goods delivered to the IBX either directly or following acceptance by security
· Enters all relevant details of all inbound/outbound shipments and ensures order requirements are fulfilled
· Uses shipment spotlight and shipment dashboard for customers inbound/outbound shipments
· Inspects received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items where necessary

Problem Solving

· Proactively works and communicates with internal/external customers to ensure on-time deliveries.
· May assist with resolving difficult shipping and receiving issues

Hazardous Materials

· Follows established procedures on hazardous materials, requires supervision on new assignments
· Follows and complies with hazardous materials within semi-routine protocols, as described by regional regulatory bodies

Equipment

· Tracks stored and/or abandoned equipment.
· Uses the aging shipment business processes/tools for Shipments over 5 days, 14 days, 30 days and 90 days.

IBX Support

·Assists with delivering and removal of customers equipment from cages through the use of established procedures
· When requested by a Smart Hand (SH) request, assists with packing customers equipment with packing material so that it can be shipped from the IBX

Qualifications

· Typically requires a high school diploma and 1-2 years of equivalent work experience.
· Regional hazardous materials certification preferred.
