Job description: Our client is one of the largest media brands, a leader in daily newspapers across Canada, and currently has an immediate opening for a Media Sales Consultant. As a member of the Sales team, the successful candidate will contribute to successfully growing the business, maximizing revenue streams with potential clients and providing outstanding customer service while maintaining a strong focus on audience based solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Full sales cycle, selling a vast suite of digital media/advertising solutions
• Selling into a SMB and Mid-market business audience in a client-facing capacity
• Blend of hunting new business and managing an existing book of business
• Apply a consultative audience solution selling approach accompanied by the delivery of proactive advertising proposals to key decision-makers

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of cold calling experience
• Experience in Media/Advertising or Marketing sales is an asset
• Strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape
• Strong track record of achieving and exceeding set targets
